Treasurer's tax executions, 1875-1932.

This series consists of the original tax execution turned over to the sheriff for collection of taxes and receipt if that execution is satisfied. The execution is issued by the treasurer to the sheriff to be satisfied. If the sheriff collects the tax, a copy of the receipt was placed in the file. If the execution was returned nulla bona, a reason was generally given (dead, left the county, unfound). Information includes name of defaulting taxpayer, amount owed, type of tax(es) owed, and the tax year.
